Scentsy Story
I was first introduced to Scentsy in 2009 when a friend invited me to a party she was hosting. At first I was like, "What's that?" I had never heard of it before. She described it a little, I was intrigued and so I went. And boy, am I glad I did. Never have I ever loved a product SO much from the beginning. My first warmer was the Classic Satin Back Deluxe warmer and my first scents were Ocean and Clean Breeze (yes, I remember what they were!). I LOVE those clean fresh smells! I decided I needed more so I hosted a party and got a ton of free product due to my host credit. I got another full size warmer, two plug-in warmers and a bunch more scents. However, due to my obsession with always having the warmer I went through those scents sooner than I anticipated. But I don’t help it I LOVED THEM! Needless to say I needed more scents - I wanted to have those wonderful smells going in my home all the time. Regrettably I didn’t place an order with a Scentsy consultant. Instead I purchased some bars from a well-known retail store. I found some scents I liked so I bought them. After I got them home and immediately put them in my warmer. After some time the wax melted and I could smell them- “YES! Finally! Yummy smells in my house again!” Unfortunately my satisfaction didn’t last long. Immediately I noticed that not all of the wax was melting- as if it wasn’t getting warm enough. “Hmmm…that’s odd. It was just working fine with the Scentsy brand ones.” Then, after about a day of having the scent going it was gone. “REALLY?!?” I asked myself “Gone already?” That was disappointing! What I’ve come to learn is that the scents you get in the stores- and trust me, I’ve tried almost every brand and style I could get my hands on- none, and I mean NONE compare to the Scentsy ones. Not only have I found that those “wannabes” take more heat to melt, they don’t last as long. Not even half the scent time as the Scentsy ones. So I’ve learned my lesson- I’ve got to stick to what I believe and know to be the best- SCENTSY. After years of using the product and loving it, I decided to become a consultant.
